real everyday life….april/may

with a group of fellow mom photographers, i had committed to document our life, the way it looks every day. i take a ton of photos of my kids. a ton. but i tend to avoid the clutter, the dirty clothes, the filthy little faces int he photos i choose to keep. well, that is not always our real life. i would love our kids, when they look back at their childhood photos, to remember that they were allowed to watch tv, that after a long day of work their parents were OK with letting them watch cartoons on the ipad during the dinner just to avoid the complaints about eating what they were served, and that yes, indeed, they were allowed to make a mess.

so here are the boys…

watching their favorite TV show…

Max, playing in his big brother’s room and messing with his stuff while he is not home…

the infamous complaint-free dinner with the ipad….

and the morning slumber
